It’s been an exciting week! We are off to a great start with our fulfillment partner, Fulfillrite! It’s been great to hear from you as your KOALAs arrive - thanks to everyone who has reached out to our team! As more backers receive their KOALAs we’ve been getting some good questions that I thought I would take a moment to address:

1) How exactly does the clamp work?

The clamp works by lifting the lever arm up to open it and then pushing the lever arm down to close it. Here’s a GIF showing the clamp in action:

2) Where should I attach the clamp for the strongest grip?

We recommend clamping it over the edge of something like a seam or a zipper. We designed it to limit the chance of damaging fragile textiles like GoreTex.
